Otron....

Post03 Nov 2013, 17:58

Here the second lcd timepieces found today....a funny Otron...only 3 euro...in good cosmetic condition with a plastic (not original) band...
The watch is small but is not for woman...inside i found the old battey so i must clean the circuit board for sure...the module has a sticker: Olympus Electronic, the company that made Otron's module i suppose..
The case is chromed, there's a mineral glass, and the back case is stainless steel...the funtion are very basic: just hour, minute, sec and date....the watch is not working at the moment but i want to restore it....maybe needs a good clean....

I hope to make it running again...when it's possible i'll add some pics
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
