National Semiconductor LCD Calculator Watch

Post14 Jun 2014, 19:13

Hello. I have a National Semiconductor LCD calculator watch. It is stainless with a "flip top" that covers the calculator keys. I decided to put batteries in it today and get it going again. Unfortunately, I cannot recall how to set the time and date. There are instructions on the bottom of the flip top stating "Setting Function Keys: Used While in the Watch Mode"and then directions for what element of time and date each calculator function key sets. Does anyone have information on how I can set this watch?

I added a picture of the watch below. I believe someone on the forum uses a similar watch as his avatar.

Thank you!

I figured it out :-D

While in watch mode, follow these steps:

1. Press the function key that corresponds to the time or date element you want to modify;
2. Using the calculator number keys, set the desired time or date element; and,
3. Press the = key on the calculator to lock in the change.

I had forgotten about step 3.

Thank you!
