trafalgar tr202 and tr206

Post04 Oct 2014, 22:02

Hello.
I have got hold of a couple of old trafalgar digital watches unused in original stock boxes.
The model/module numbers are TR202 and TR206.

The watches appear to be completely unused and im informed they were straight out of a jewellers unused stock.

There is no indication as to the functioning of the watches as they have never been opened to fit new batteries.

Does anyone have any idea of the rarity and value of these watches?

There are some neat design models of this brand watch, do you have any pictures to share?
Most likely this has a National Semiconductor module.
Rarity, yes...not everyday you find LED watches in NOS condition.
Value???
Best regards ;-)

Looks like one of them dates to 1977 according to the manual (bottom right 1.77). I have seen the module before but cant remember where. Maybe a Mondaine lcd I had.

Modules in both are National Semiconductor made in Malaysia types (with nasty bits of conductive rubber that harden and loose conductivity!). Hordes of these around, mostly non working, but practically all in NOS condition- obviously didn't sell very well. I have a fair number of these that came off Ebay in a big job lot a couple of years ago in most of the case/bracelet combinations.
