Some more infos...but please post also a photo of the face of the watch to let us to see the LCD's hour:minutes 1. You're module seems to be also quite similar (BUT NOT identical!
) with this Longines LCD L775.1 module from a non-working Adam's watch,
having the same USA made SSS (Solid State Scientific) 5437 IC and (probably - because in your watch the quartz crystal cannot be seen) also the same Motorola quartz crystal (please see the photo below from Adam -www.digital-watch.com).
viewtopic.php?f=64&t=46182. The MagicDigital website stated that this L775.1 module was especially designed/made for Longines, probably in USA or Swiss(???):
"Das Modul ist eine Eigenentwickliung für Longines, Cal L775.1, vermutlich Schweiz oder USA."http://www.digitalwatches.de/index.htm? ... UHREN1.htm2. In the above mentioned NewDWF post, user charger105 stated that the 74xx number may be seen as the production year of the IC - 1974, same as your SSS IC, so Your watch may be then produced somewhere in 1974, or at least in 1975..."In case you hadn't realised, the IC indicates a 1974 date. Nice and early ! "viewtopic.php?f=64&t=4618Regards,
