This was posted here before, but I can't find the thread for it:



It was originally just a concept, but it looks like the Chinese have gotten to it and produced it. So I bought one. They are on eBay under "Iron Samurai". It came in today and I'll have pics up sometime this weekend. Have to admit it's not bad for what I paid for it (I didn't buy it on eBay). Not a 100% exact copy, but close enough for me.

Has time, date and running seconds.

How big is the watch, does it look chunky on the wrist?

It's not that bulky, it's more like you're wearing a bracelet than a watch.

Wow - I've never seen that design before. How do you like the display in 'real life'? Do all the segments light up compeltely and evenly?

The display is much better than in the pictures. From an angle some of the "links" does block the view, but you'll be looking at it face on anyways. It looks a little uneven because it's reflecting off the metal band. The glow is a fairly even orangey/red. The comparison picture with the Date/Command probably best represents the display.

Niiccee...... if you don't mind me asking, how much was it? Is the metal SS or SS plated on brass or something else?

I've seen it on eBay anywhere from $22-$55US. I want to say it's SS, but I think it's a base metal with a black chrome finish. It's not bad looking in real life.

I got mine today and it looks good, not usually into modern watches but this one caught my eye. The Chinglish instructions are not to clear any idea on how to get the watch to display in the 24hr format?

Cycle through the settings using the bottom button until it displays either 12hr or 24hr. Change it using the top button.
