Yes - is my first wife, but I must confess to "holding her off" for 13 years, and that helped with the pre-marriage training.

I am comfortable knowing that we will both be eating dogfood at retirement, unless my dear wife happens to be tucking $$$ away, but alas I suspect not.

At least I am enjoying my toys ^_^

Wow, this begs the question(just ribbing you),"why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" But seriously, most people don't want to be alone so what the hey.

You can't take it with you - enjoy!

MY newest toy arrived minutes ago....f'n sweet, I was almost moved to tears when I opened the case. :-D

That's a pretty damn sweet bass !!!!!!

To answer your question w.r.t. the cow thing. (Sherman, set the way back to December 25th, 2000)

In 2000 we moved from our Home State of New Jersey to Mass because my job relocated. That year we had a water pipe burst and totally flooded our new home. The "disaster" company ripped up all the carpets, had about 50 (exaggeration) fans and dehumidifiers blowing sh*t around the house, and thus was the scene that Christmas day in 2000.

We had just finished opening our Christmas Gifts to each other, and for some reason my dear GF didn't look terribly happy. I thought she was all bummed out because of the state the house was in, so I went around the house and unplugged all of the fans and humidity thingys, and at least the house was nice and quiet for the first time in about a week.

I asked her if she got everything she wanted for Christmas, and she kinda stared straight down at her feet for a while than looked up with tears in her eyes, and shook her head NO, and ran into the bedroom and threw herselk facedown on the bed. Merry fekking Christmas :(

So now I felt like one of those cartoon characters that has a picture of big jackass where his head is supposed to be. At that moment... I figured 13 years was a pretty good run, and that I had earned my man card.

I proposed the following February 14th, and we were married Sept 2001.

Haven't regretted it ........... much LMAO

As a former brother-in-law used to say, " if we couldn't f'm we'd have to kill them and eat them."

My new toy is slightly sweeter than the picture...ebony fingerboard. Stunning!!

The images are misleading.

Read the promo carefully. I don't think they are producing an LED watch. It is a Liquid Crystal Display powered by a swiss movment.

Hi again,

So here we are again many months later, and the Pulsomatic has been out for a while.

and

I didn't buy one yet :(

Why Not???? Well two reasons

1 - They don't seem to be readily available (except through ebay)
2 - It is really expensive for what it now seems to be.

I know.... I know.... I was stubborn to think that I would just GET ONE no matter what. Now I am in a quandary.

Does the watch seem ... i dunno... really big? I haven't seen one in person, but a few pictures seem to convey a really big watch face. No backlight, so don't wear it in dark places. No colon? Just too weird.

(disappointment has set in)

Do any of you good ppl know a dealer who sells them? I still am interested in a black/black version, but I am not sure why.

I hate to say you guys were right. But you were right.

I was very interested in this New watch as well but after looking at the specs I too will not buy it, for more than 2 reasons...............

1 - No Display Light. They say they used the most advanced technologies during manufacture but obviously forgot to add a display light, this alone has put me off buying it.
2 - No Colon between numbers (Not sure why this bothers me but it does)
3 - The segments look very thin ?
4 - 49mm wide (anything over 43mm looks too big on my wrist)
5 - No Alarm, Stopwatch or Timer
6 - To show the Day you must turn the crown, to show the month you need to pull the crown out, this is dumb, 35 years ago you just pressed a button, touched the watch face or flicked your wrist. Now 35 years later you have to play around with the crown by twisting turning and pulling the crown out. I dont call this technology.

What I still like...........
- Automatic Quartz Movement
- 120 days power reserve
- Sapphire Glass
- All Stainless Steel
- Display Back
- Looks Good

Everything you like, and wish this had, is to be found on the MIB2 model...still a Hamilton, and 1/7 the price. Enough said....

Yes I know, thats why I cant understand why they didn't include at least a display light.

I mainly collect Modern Mechanical Watches and have a nice Vintage LED Watch as well, also a Modern LCD Ventura Delta - worth every cent for all the features it includes

I might wait for gen 2 of the Hamilton Pulsomatic if it ever decides to enter Earth

Still think its great for collectors, at least it looks the part

I have the MIB watch. It's awesome all around.

I just liked the idea of an automatic LCD/Quartz.

I was really excited, but now.... not so much :(

The MIB II has a cheap chinese standard module. The LCD has quite poor contrast, the digits are too small for my taste (and age...), and the backlight is rather dim. Besides that, it looks very nice. My 2c.

PS: I have a mint boxed Hamilton MIB II that I'd even sell for a reasonable offer. Feel free to PM me ;-)

As for the Pulsomatic: the Ventura d-sparc has all the Pulsomatic has (but nothing more), looks at least as nice (IMVHO), and has a better display. And the titanium version (fx) is even extremely scratch resistant. But it isn't cheaper...

Can't disagree with any of your comments, but the watch is SOLID, and looks sleek on my wrist ;)

Yeah, I know, I'm too honest to be a good salesman ;-) I'd say better no customer than an unhappy one, and I can't say what I don't believe (though at least I learnt to keep shut up in such situations if required, that is, I don't always have to say what I think ;-) )

I spotted a Hamilton Pulsomatic for sale on eBay with a buy it now of 800 EUR, for anyone that might still be interested in this watch the item number is 180616940534.

I spotted this whilst browsing it's not my auction nor do I have any connection with the seller.

The seller is using stock photos. I could only find one site that seemed to have the LCD version for sale($999), but they were out of stock. http://www.jomashop.com/hamilton-mens-w ... 15139.html

Freakin vapor-ware ...... I'm guessing the new owners of Hamilton have monitored various watch forums commentary on the watch and decided it isn't worth the effort, nobody is buying their $1500 digital.

I think the digital Dennis Klien was working on was much more noteworthy, from it's large feature set, to it's radical design and display function. Nicole's SASM modules are more of a move forward, IMO.

Y'know.... just before the holidays, that Jomashop store had them for like $899 !!! I thought to myself that was a great price, and I went back to the site the next day and it was $999 and "out of stock".

These are beginning to look like a flop:(
