I friend of mine in the USA started this company and I was wondering if anyone out in the land of the internet had one and what do you think?

I think I've seen that before, quite some time ago, but can't remember where - maybe it was this very site or an annunciation somewhere....

Nice idea. But honestly - for people accustomed to digital watches it doesn't actually make it easier if the minutes are jumping around on the dial (yes, you can switch this off, but then it's just an ordinary digital watch). E.g. I am so accustomed to 24h display that it feels kind of funny to see "10:30" when it's dark outside.... ;-)

The design isn't too bad ;-)

BTW the image links in the "Product" section don't work...

It's too bad Ventura never really understood digital watches - I had very mixed experiences with the v-tec Alpha and ultimately decided to sell it.

For a while I considered replacing it with the Tag Heuer Microtimer but eventually decided against the watch for aesthetic reasons.

Then I saw the Quadtec in Las Vegas (video) a couple of months ago and really liked it. Very high quality piece of work and it's nice to see some new concepts in time representation being explored. Somehow the Quadtec seems more like a "real" digital watch than any of the other modern digitals I've seen. So last week I took the plunge and ordered one - I hope to post a review after I've had and used it for a bit.

They have them for sale at a store in Downtown Disney in Orlando. Innovative design. I think a little on the too expensive side though for what you get. Around $250 would be a more equitable price IMHO.

Yes but do not care for the time telling gimmick.
