Faint MIB II LED display..Is it normal??

Post07 Feb 2009, 01:52

Hello all, I gust picked up a Hamilton MIB II on the bay. Great shape but the LED display is hard to read and faint. The button to light the display dosent seem to do anything much @ all for nite reading. Is this because of a low battery condition or just the wat they are. Thanks Kenlloyds@gmail.com

The Hamilton MIB II has an LCD, not LED display.

The display contrast is quite poor, this has been discussed here before: http://dwf.nu/viewtopic.php?t=2149&highlight=MIB and http://dwf.nu/viewtopic.php?t=1874&highlight=mib

When the battery gets empty the green backight becomes very dim and also the LCD vanishes when you press the light button. Try and change the battery.
