Majestyk II clone?

This is obviously a MII case with plastic strap.
Though the case might look like plastic too, it's white laquered steel according to the seller.

Also available with black strap http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220364181871

As much as I like the MII, this one looks :~# - IMVHO

I bought one of those, since it was so cheap. Not even the same module. Terrible display.

Now this looks even more like the M-II. The strap is different (looks cheap and doesn't match well) and the digits seem larger. The photo does not appear to be manipulated.
But the mentionied gallery photo shows an M-I.

Oh goody! Another auction for me to shut down.

Anyway, stay away from these cheap things, especially the silver tone ones, which are 100% base metal, even the back plate. And yes, the display on the modules are no good. The module for the blue version was actually copied from the red module so it works on a 2032 battery and the display is too dark.

No it's not legit at all. The case has very slight differences so it's not from the exact mold.

True, I stopped searching for LED watches some time ago.
If one could exclude sellers from certain countries (Hongkong) this would help a lot. I even made a proposal to ebay some time ago: "thank you ..... yada yada ..... will consider ..... improvement ..... user experience ....." - bullshit bingo.

Doesn't it indicate a reasonable level of success when someone considers you worthy of knocking off? How does that go..."Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". It'll be a dark day when this starts happening to the Pulsars, Omegas, Hamiltons... Hope it won't get too far, though; any fakes start showing up, and the members of this Forum will be on them like a pack of starving lions...
