1999 Model Zeon LED

Post01 Apr 2009, 11:19

Hi, although I have been an LED watch fan for years and only have one, I have trawled the 'net looking for it and been unable to find it!

It is a Zeon model No. ZR17217 red LED 'bubble' display with clear red face, polished St/steel multi-segment stretch strap and case.

It is made in the '70s style but is a repro (you can see some surface mount components through the red face!) which I bought new in 1999 for £25.97 from H.Samuel Jewelers in Norwich (I still have box, reciept and warranty card)

Anyone know how many there are about?

This is a fascinating user group, I wonder if you know of any like this here in the UK?

Are there any for old calculators (LED & VFD) like Sinclair, Casio, Commodore etc?
Thanks again to you all,
Stuart.

hi,

thanks for taking the time to download some pics.

to answer your original question, your watch is certainly a discontinued model but not a rarity as such. a nice little starter watch though, enjoy it...
