Last week we decided to ordered 3 (for me and 2 colleagues) - our company has good connections to TI
I only hope I find the time to actually work on it. We already made some MSP430-based designs, so I'm quite familiar with this CPU.

I thought about it for awhile and wondered if TI could actually move enough of these to recover the NRE, even at $49 a piece. It's something a school kid could afford, and possibly the only market segment that would actually buy it (male ages 12 to 24).

I don't quite follow you there, Jeff. After all, most guys never get older than that.
