$428 plus shipping vs. $190 for an 8 GB Nano including the add on metal bracelet.
I'm sticking with the Nano for my wish list......I can crush $190 just as easily as $428 and the Nano has more features I will actually use. But the Seiko is awfully nice looking - maybe if I worked in an office or such I'd consider it.

I have not read anyone stating that EPD technology would not become available in cheaper Seiko models.

This Spirit is a lower escalon model so obviously is lower priced.

When one takes a closer look it is not so clear as to wether this Spirit model offers more value for money than the Brightz EPD even though the law of deminishing returns dictates that it should.
The most expensive horizontal LCD modesl are about 26.000 Yen.

Bottom line is that the EPD is an expensive watch at the Spirit level of finish/manufacture in the program whereas the EPD model is low priced at the Brightz level. The prices of thát one have gone...úp about 15%

Nâh; I already have the Brightz so do not long for the Spirit.
I wouldn´t object to a gold coloured SDGA though, to keep pristine for dessing up.

If it were in the USD 300-400 range, I would get one. Unfortunately the Dollar is weak compare to the Yen of several years ago.
Is there an online manual for this model or the Brightz model?
