RHIX TE @ tokyoflash

Post11 Nov 2004, 02:21

A new beauty on tokyoflash :D

It's loaded with features (WTF is a "Integral Point Reminder" :? ).
It even has daylight savings time (hopefully adjustable). Apart from the Synchronar, are there any other watches with DST?

Does anyone know more about RHIX? Who's behind it?

Also nice:

I like those, both awsome looking watches, and good prices too, it's a shame the second one doesn't have Integral Point Reminder though

Been thinking about it: the "Integral Point Reminder" could be what's called "Hourly time signal" in the description of the 2nd watch. Makes sense somehow: It reminds you when the time expressed in hours is an integer (=non-fractional) number, i.e. when minutes are :00. Maybe they used babelfish

Got my watch 2 days ago. Ordered on Sunday night, delivered on Thursday - amazingly fast.
It's a bit smaller than I had thought (case is 40 x 26mm). The display backgrund is mirrored, very nice. And yes, "Integral Point Reminder" is hourly chime.
And the name is not "RHIX", it's "THIX". They have a homepage, all in Chinese (I believe) and FLASH, and babelfish doesn't work there:
http://www.thix.com/index01.html
They have some really amazing 8) 8) watches, I hope Tokyoflash will sell them also (or better not, saves me money  )
Sorry for the giant pic, no other to link there:

There are even more...

I tried emailing THIX. Unfortunately it gets bounced back to me. :( I guess they don't accept emails outside Japan.

I have one of these too. (Also bought from the guys at Tokyoflash). Its a great watch, very comfortable to wear and easy to read.

Currently looking at the T1 (similar design but polished steel strap etc). I was waiting for tokyoflash to get hold of some, if not I guess its off to ebay as "Majestic" seems to sell the T1 at the moment.

I gave up on the this website, its amazingly slow to load (even on my fast broadband) and Babelfish cant seem to firgure some of it out...

Tokyoflash told me they won't have any more Thix watches in the near future. If you want one, take majestyk's.

The guy who runs http://www.coolwatch.co.uk told me he's bought some of them to sell on his site, but no sign of them on there yet.

I don't like this watch. My subjective impression is that it has a 'hostile' design.
