Cadence Josh Chadwick dress lcd watch

Post28 Feb 2014, 21:27

Winner of an international design contest, the Josh Chadwick Digital Analog Watch features a seamless blend of analog and digital display, creating a juxtaposition of classical and contemporary style with an edginess sure to get noticed.

An analog-style watch for the digital age.

Instead of recreating the harsh glow and cold numerals of a digital alarm clock on your wrist, the Josh Chadwick Watch uses digital technology to update the timeless design of an analog clock. The watch is convenient as well as stylish, indicating the date and day of the week, and with an AM/PM display which can be switched to a second counter. Includes an easy-to-set alarm function, a dual-time function, and a tasteful back-light for nighttime use. The wrist band is elegant in 100% hypoallergenic stainless steel, clasping together smoothly to allow for a fluid, adjustable band with extra comfort. Dimensions: 39mm diameter, 10mm thickness. Specifications: Good to 3ATM.

Specifications
1. Timekeeping Hour/ Minute/ Second/ Da/y Date/Month
2. 2nd timer
3. 1/100 s Chronograph, laps.
4. Countdown,Scheduled Alarm.
5.12/24 hour.
6. EL backlight
+ 3 different time modes/views

A little black number would look nice and match up with the dial.

Hi Kasper very nice watch. ;-)
Well I would have to say that as I bought mine quite some time back. :-)
I love mine too. I couldn't agree more, it's stylish, functional and comfy
on the wrist. :Prost:

Hi Kasper, did you know the original design had a magnetic band?
I just found this:
http://www.nikktech.com/main/images/pic ... t_band.jpg
through this:
http://www.nikktech.com/main/articles/w ... imitstart=
I stumbled across it while trying (unsuccessfully) to find the correct cell size, as there is nothing written in
the watch or the instruction sheet, do you know if it's a 20 32 or a 20 25?
Regards P-air

OK so after getting confirmation that the 2025 cells are indeed genuine Renata.
I finally set about sorting the JC. After putting the cell in I got the same four dots.(as kasper)
I shorted out the two brass coloured patches in one of the holes in the module,
eureka full display. Then proceeded to try and get the back on.
I have to say this is one of the most stubborn press on backs I have ever had.
Finally got it to go with the help of several sheets of copy paper and piece of wood.
It had me worried when I set it as the auto set day of week was a day out.
(thur instead of wed) then I remembered that the date month year is backwards. :bang:
so I actually had it set for 15th of Nov 2018. :rtfm: :fool:
Anyway all sorted now, YIPPEEEEEE.
here's the crappy wrist shot.
