Time for a battery change for the Ventura Sigma :)

Low Batt indicator still on, and it has been on for at least 8 weeks.

Case back is held by 6 screws like these, taking the case back off is no rocket science. :)

Here's how the module looks like. The battery is a CR1620, it can beveasily sourced.

In theory, we should remove the rotating crown, then remove the movement in order to losen the battery clip. But in this case, I was able to rotate the movement (with care) enough to access the battery clip. The rest is straight forward.

Battery replaced, function tested, time set, ready for another 3 to 4 years of service. :)

I still love the design of the Ventura Sigma. I love the solid built of the watch, the design and there is still nothing is quite like it out there, especially when most, if not all, manufacturers are moving away from high quality digital watch, sadly including Casio and Seiko.
