There is a blue plastic one that is a little bigger than the one you bought that works just fine if you don't do a lot of pin work. You can get those for $5-7 or a few people are selling a "watch tool set" for about $15 that comes with that one and a few other tools.
Always push slowly and make sure you are keeping the pusher dead-on straight even on the best ones you will ruin the pushing pin if you let it tip at all off a stright line.
