The batteries are fitted with the + facing out, there should be a black rubber joint between the batteries and the caseback too.

Just to confirm - that's both batteries with the positive facing out, yes?

Yes thats 100% correct both batteries are installed with the + facing outwards... :-)

How is the condition of the watch case, I've got a totally mint Litronix case that will fit that module.

Cheers Klippie -Thanks for the heads up with the batteries.
The case is good - it's the module that is going berserk (now I have the batteries installed) I've left it to see if it settles down.
