Bowmar LED watch display malfunction

Hello,
I have a Bowmar LED watch that when I press the bottom button the day:seconds is displayed where it should display the day.month. When you continue to hold down the bottom button the :seconds are only displayed which is what should happen. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this malfunction or where to send the watch for repair. Please look at my posting in the LED watch (modern and vintage) detailing this Bowmar LED display issue. I think your watch is probably fine but has a different (perhaps earlier) module to funkyguy's Bowmar.

Quite a few 70's led watches show running seconds combined with the date (or hours or minutes). Quartzmatics and bulova drivers do this for example.

If you can't get the seconds to show any other way than pressing the bottom button then I wouldnt worry about it.

I have a couple that display the same way, a Wyler and a Mido Swissonic, both work fine.

Update: make that three - Sinclair blackwatch also!
