Early citizens about to fly!

Post17 Sep 2010, 19:35

I dont see many questions about citizen watches here, but i'll ask anyway. I have been beating myself up trying to get a citizen module to not flash a couple of seconds after I put the battery clamp back on. I have tried different boards, different everything I've cleaned contacts, bathed in vinegar. I have a few of these modules and they are all behaving the same when I put them back together(must be me!). They are nice modules on ceramic I think dating from 76-77 respectively. Any ideas anyone?

thank you Adam

Unless components have been damaged, usually a new silver oxide battery should make it work.
Many LCD modules have a battery life indicator that flashes the whole display when it is running low.
