P4 Battery Life

Post09 Sep 2011, 01:15

I installed new batteries (303/357) about 2 weeks ago. I looked at the watch today and the display was very low. I checked the batteries and they were less than one volt. I did set the watch down before I took off the back and noticed that the display lit up when the case rested against the band over the magnet. Would this have caused the batteries to drain?

Thanks!!

Yes it certainly would have ! Replace the batteries and store it more carefully and it should be fine.
I gave my brother a P3, and a week later he complained that the batteries had drained. I asked him how he was storing it, and it turned out he was putting it in a box, and when he closed the lid, it depressed one of the buttons. He stores it differently now and he hasn't had a problem since.

My suggestion to avoid that problem: if you are putting it down for the night, say on your nightstand, slip a [fresh :x ]pair of folded socks into the band. You and your watch will both be ready in the mornin 8-) . Try to pull a fold OVER the watch, and it will be protected against sleepy ;* stupidity. Right
