Maybe a stupid question but

if the digits from a digital watch stand still, it means that the quartz is broke?

I would think so, worth a try replacing?
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
The reason i collect watches is because it feels like i'm buying time.
