I thought it was a fairly decent fix-up. Re. silicon for setting crystals, etc.....be sure to let it cure well before closing a case, as it does give off a bit of moisture(yeah,yeah, I know it's not water based,haven't investigated the chemistry of it) while drying. Try putting a blob in a sealed glass container - amazing amount of moisture develops. Price is a bit high for one so seriously Frankensteined, IMO.
