Compuchron Caseback

Post02 Dec 2008, 12:13

Hi All.
Has anyone got any tips on putting the casebacks back onto a Compuchron ? I seem to have to push incredibly hard to get them to snap back on.

Rgds,
Andrew.

Buy a small caseback press off ebay - be sure to get one with nylon dies, not metal. The pressure is nice and straight, less likely you do something stupid like crack a corner(crystal) from uneven pressure. If you get a screw down type it makes a decent clamp for holding certain items that have glue setting up...epoxy doesn't stick to nylon very well. 8-)
