trafalgar module

Post08 Dec 2009, 21:01

Hi Folks

I've a trafalgar, standard day date, that was working. I left it for a while and it now appears frozen, all the led's light up individually when I pop the batteries out but the buttons have no effect, any ideas? I had this watch bought for my 10th birthday, and its my favourite. If it comes to the worst does anyone have a spare module I can buy?

many thanks

Hi Steve,

Can you please post a picture of the watch and if possible a picture of the module (they are usually National Semi-Conductor N.S.C.inside), if I think what is wrong with it its a dead easy fix it sounds like it needs a new quartz crystal which are cheap and easy to replace so you won't need a new module plus it will keep time much better than before.
