Unable to set day on Pulsar

Post10 May 2010, 19:39

Hi

I have a P3 which works perfectly except that I can't set the day of the month. I set the month by holding in the left button and using the magnet on the hour tab on the back. I assume setting the day of the month should be possible by holding in the right hand button then holding the magnet on the minute tab?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Logical guess, but wrong. You set the date by pressing BOTH buttons and putting the magnet in the HR recess. The AM/PM dot will bounce between upper and lower positions between number changes. You see why they went to Auto-Set as soon as possible... ;-)

Thanks Bruce. Now I'm sorted. Is there an online copy of the manual for these watches? I've searched but haven't come across one.

Go to the PDF downloads of the Jewellers' Technical Manual...complete setting instructions for the P3 are on page 55.
