I see this sort of thing all the time; beautiful shape...and dead as the dinosaurs. I learned early on that there is NO correlation between cosmetic and working condition. One of the worst-looking Pulsars was a P3 that looked like it had spent time in a rock crusher. Put in new batteries and it worked perfectly [fortunately, it had been stored away with the batteries removed]. But, dont throw yours away; you might find a beat-up worker on eBay cheap, transplant the module, and have a nice watch for a minimal investment. BTW, leaking batteries and static electricity have killed more digital watches than all other causes combined, so it's something to consider when buying any electronic watch (LED or LCD]. If the pictures don't show it working, there's probably a problem...
