RetroLED's Repair Service Concerns

Post27 Oct 2010, 11:43

Hi, has anyone else (especially from the UK) used the repair service from RetroLEDs ?
I sent my watch off after contacting them from the site. According the postal service it was signed for on the 21st but I have not heard anything back.
I appreciate the email response from the initial contact I got stated a "several week backlog" but I would at least expect an email stating that they had received my watch.
I have sent a couple of mails but had no reply.

It's making me slightly nervous !!
Anyone had any experience with their repair service ?

Thanks

"Several week back-log"...That sums it up right there ;-)
I wouldn't worry if its been received, your already stating that its been signed for...received.
It takes time to respond to all service calls/requests, and it also will take time to diagnose/repair the watch.
Ed stating to you that he has a several week backlog would also cover the fact he hasn't had time to respond.
No need to worry, he'll contact you soon enough

Ed has done loads of work for me over the last few years and all work has been completed as promised and without any problems.

You do not need to worry!

Mick from the UK.

Sorry mate. Looks like you maikled it the 13th of October, I got it the 21st - I leave the piece in the box until I get to it. Safest that way. This is always easier if your name was on outside of box(lot of people in Europe do that, leave off their name, don't understand way)...but your address allowed me to sort it on my end.
