it was flawless untill the catastrophe happened yesterday...
now i have a big fat scratch on the brushed metal face...and a small scratch on the glass...

anyone knows how to remove that ?
for the scratch on the metal: what about these car paint pens? (i don't know the right word, i mean the pens you use to remove small scratches from your car...)

Or you can polish the scratch away with metal polish. I use a car chrome polish.
As it is brushed, you will need to brush it again after polishing it, do that with steel wool.

Found this site http://www.watchpolishing.com/ no doubt one of many similar ones, but it looks quite usefull.

Very nice site azimuth_pl :) When it comes to removing watch case scratches, especially stainless steel ones, is it ok to begin by using a (fairly) coarse grade abrasive, and then finish it off with a finer one? Or is it best to simply keep repeating the brushing process with the same fine grade abrasive?

Edit: Did a 'google' for more ideas/products for scratch removal (I've got a few watches that are lining up fo treatment), and found this http://www.paneristi.com/archives/polishing.html They suggest using a regular ink eraser (on titanium). How's that for a cheap simple fix.
