I got this as not working, I removed the four (4!) batteries that were crammed into it, did a quick clean of the contacts and placed two batteries of the correct size.
And this is the result so far :) (still needs some cleaning)

I have the same watch with original band...great quality!! A tank.... Well the watch was released in 1976 (info by Orient)

i checked...my orient has different case but the same module... sorry....the release was 1976.

i love these mid seventies orient watches...chunky but at the same time elegant....and fits well on my wrist even if is very small
