So that you get to know me a little.

This is my favorite piece:

And this one, but just a little to small for my taste:

sometimeago - nice Bertone Stratos. I have the one to the far right in that picture for sale on my site.....second one from left is part of my personal collection(along wiht a second copy of the first one). Rewgarding that article in the background, do you know where it is from? My understanding was the Bertone Stratos watches were made for Buler, not Tissot(per Pierer Doensen's "Watch"). A mystery unfolds......paperwork, old brochures, we must know the truth!

Well...

1. Like the black version of the Bertone Stratos.. These are the best design i.m.h.o. but...hey..
2. I asked Pieter about this and he told me what is in the book...
So not much help from him there.
3. The article in the back ground if from the Tissot 150 year anniversary book...I am a Tissot collector...hence the watch...
Also in the Text they claim they asked Bertone to design these watches for them. When a watch was sold the customer would receive a model Lancia Stratos HF race car. Perhaps Tissot sponsored these races?!

Then there is a question for you :!:
How long is battery life on the Hughes Aircraft modules? Any bold figure?

12-16 months with silver oxides. And it vaires a lot by manufacturer. A Maxell #357 has 120 mah, a Renata has 190!? A big difference.

Seems to be a bit of that...and some major holes in the chronology of some items in his book. And scarcely a word on the Texas Instruments watches, including the early T.I. and Wells-Benrus collaborations.

Aside from having the highest capacity for the size, they are also Swiss-made, so quality is as good as it gets. I have never had a Renata cell leak in one of my watches.
