A self designed timepiece...

Post27 Aug 2004, 21:16

...is this clock. It?s not real, it?s computer generated and only exists in my PC. :)

Everything modeled and textured by myself. Rendered with Vue d?Esprit 4.

Wow! Great work, very nice, indeed!
Why doesn't anyone build clocks like these? I'd buy one.
Is is radio controlled  ?

BTW: saw this one last week, couldn't help buying it:

Haha, I would build one, but I got two left hands I fear.

In the real world I?m not even half as skilled as in my 3D worlds. And even there I could improve I think.

I think I got a half finished 3D Pulsar somewhere, maybe I should continue on that one? :P

I got it from www.svedano.de
But there are also many shops outside of Germany.
Manufacturer is Rosendahl, the model number is 3201, designer is Flemming Bo Hansen.

http://www.google.co.uk/search?&q=rosendahl+alarm+clock+hansen

BTW: this is my most accurate non-radio-controlled timepiece - it only lost 2 seconds during this year's DST period!
