8-) Cool watch 8-)

It's pleasing to see it was snapped up by someone who is going to appreciate it, nothing wrong with a bargain price, I always look for them ;-)

Great catch :-D

Well, if this is to be a continuous thread, then someone else better contribute !
How do you like this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWNX:IT

When it arrived, the box seemed rather heavy. To my surprise, when it arrived, there were 2 identical watches :-D The non-sensical spiel at the bottom of the auction must've meant there was an additional watch. The featured watch is in really nice condition, the extra one has a cracked crystal and mangled clasp. I've fixed up one module, which works perfectly, the other works when heated.

Rgds.

Well,

Since this is supposed to be a continuous thread....
I thought i'd show you my latest purchase.
After buying a nice gold jaz derby swissonic from ebay..
I had followed this watch for almost a year now with it's "buy now" price.

Then finally he put it at auction, i got it for maybe 1/3th of the buy it now price..YAY!!! :-D

But then the buy was cancelled because he misplaced the item....ACK!!! :~#
Or was it?*shrugs*...i may never know but i have my thoughts.
He has some others for sale right now, i hope he does not misplace those !@@!
This one is SS and might not be the nicest out there but should be fully functional....i can't wait to get it.

Here is a picture.

Image

Today i also got another nice catch in my mail....and it's really nice.
The Advance Sideview LED... and it' looks better in real then i ever imagined.

As suspected the tiny pits it has on the pictures do not stand out as much when viewed through my blue eyes ;-)
Pictures do tend to magnify these things.

Cesar - nice rarer piece. Yeah, photos sometimes show too much beyond what the eyes can normally see.

Derby Swisssonice sideview is not known for being very sturdy-dependable. But if you get one and it fails, it makes a cool case for a Bulova driver's watch module. My doing, at customer's request..crazy.

Well i must admit that does not look at all bad.
I kinda like it, of course i hope i won't need to do that.
But it makes a good alternative.

I have to draw a line somewhere :-D
But nice sideview led.

Thanks Kasper, i know what you mean.
There are so many nice watches to choose from!!!
That is why i mostly collect sideview LED/Jump Hour/LCD watches.
I think i almost have every kind now...the Jaz Derby Swissonic
kinda made it complete.
Now i have to think about the money...*shows empty pockets* lol
Then again..your last pyjama does not have pockets. ;-)
Sometimes i buy some nice tickers aswell.
Such as the Zodiac Killers watch...after i saw the movie
Omega Rolex and Breitling might have "the name"
But they never inspired a serial killer...
Also a triple date moonphase Zodiac....
always wanted one with a moonphase indication.

Looks great now i've added a nice black leather strap.

I got my SS Jaz Derby Swissonic today.
It is absolutelly gorgeous i polished it up a little and it keeps good time.

And best of all. :-D

It came in it's original box.!!!... :O`~ :

One thing that i did not expect, for i would have thought
that the guy that had put it up for sale would have placed
pictures of it's original box when posting it for sale.

So that was a wonderful surprise when i opened the mailbox. 8-)

Well done, I was watching this one with 10 minutes to go but got distracted and forgot to bid so I'm glad it's gone to a forum member. Great price.

I think my best catch ever was a Breitling Navitimer 9106 LED in working condition for 330 Euro. Needless to say that i sold it for roughly 4 times the price.

Recently i bought a Longines with that damn rare ESA 937681 module. Don't like the watch, but i needed the module for my spare Longines LED/Analog.
