Post22 Oct 2011, 16:03

hi,

just bought this one..been looking for it after missing it on Tokyoflash a few years ago.

The Zeon Tech Jackpot watch.
stainless steel..heavy an a very good quality..bought it new in box.

3 buttons..rightup pusher..push and the digits roll like a jackpot and stops with the hour..2 fast pushes and straight to the hour without rolling digits.
second push : date
button right under : your bets ..goes from 1 to 5
left middle button : roll the digits
2 of a kind: 5 x the bet
3 of a kind 100 x
4 of a kind 500 x
7777 or $$$$ 1000 x

love it :-D

:Hi: Hi Kasper have you changed the battery in your jackpot watch?
I just went to try mine, it beeped and only the one vertical line
in the centre of the display lit up and stayed on. Pressing any button made no change.
So I changed the battery as it had been in for some time.
Now I have lights but no sound.
All spring connectors and the peizo are there and in the right place I think.
As they are soldered in so impossible to loose.
Any ideas what I've done wrong?
:Prost: in advance
Pete

Hi Pete,
Mine has a glitch as well. Sometimes it works, sometimes you have to get the battery in and out again.

OK thanks for that, may be I need some fresh cells as the date is nearly out.
I had to try 3 before I even got the display to work.

That watch is a bit of a bugger when it comes to changing the battery.

At least your piezo is still attached, mine is now loose. You have to do some fiddling to line everything up right (try loosely holding the back on to check you have sound and function, then do the nightmare job of putting the caseback on.

It's probably a piece of cake if you have a watch press (I don't) - there is a lot of cursing every time I notice the batteries need changing. Fun game though, I can't bear to part with it!

Well I think I've tried everything now inc a back from a solsuno with a piezo in it and still nothing. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
It beeped on the last press as well, before I took the back off but only lit 4 dots down the middle, that stayed lit.
Could it be the battery being nearly out of date?
I'ts been lighting it up no problem now for nearly a week. So I don't see how.
I checked it has the springs in the right place I think. (one closest to the edge on the brass bit,one nearer the centre on the white?)
So frustrating.
