Thanks :-D

The middle Longines and Wittnauer on the right have very similar coloured and patterned dials to the Heuer, the manufacturers must of considered it to be a favourite colour to use along with the SS case, shame the photo didn't come out a little sharper, if I could stop buying watches I might be able to afford a new camera

Nce bunch there bucko. I personally have no collecting interest
In dual display watches, but good to see them being preserved
And valued, The 1970s. The greatest period in watch design and innovation.

Thank you :-D

I know there are more dual display watches to be found, Commodore made one for example, I am keeping my eyes out to add to the collection.

Bucko170, absolutely stunning collection you've assembled! Any ideas where I can get a working Hughes LCD/LED module? I have a Longines Gemini II NOS case and box from an old stock however the module is cracked thus rendering the watch non functional.

Best regards,
Robert

I would keep an eye open on ebay for a suitable donor watch or maybe try Ed Cantarella? Alternatively if Hanno has made an SASM replica of the module I would recommend one of those.
Be patient and one will show up, sooner or later.

Thanks for your reply. Is Ed Cantarella on this forum? I'll reach out to Hanno if he's ever made a dual replica module. In the mean time I'm going to attempt a crude replacement of a pen LED watch module and an LCD module. Time won't be in sync but it may just work until i can find a replacement. Right now on eBay there are two sellers of the Gemini II but they are both holding out for a lot of $$$ about $1000.00. So as you said otherwise I'll be patient as there will always be other listings. I never realized there were other companies that used the Hughes Aircraft dual display module as well, I thought it was made exclusively for Longines. I just had my Heuer LED/LCD Chronosplit restored by Neil at RAWSAR with a new module and original displays. Got that off of a Goodwill auction surprisingly, it was a beat up watch but now it's fully functional and like you I wanted to have the Longines Gemini side by side as these are truly iconic timepieces. Take care of you stunning collection , I think your photo of your collection is probably the only one out there!

take care!
Robert
