Omega Equinoxe Reverso 1981

Post20 Sep 2014, 15:36

Omega Equinoxe Reverso 1981 with double display ana-digi.

Yes friends, i had an incredible month. I found some rare gems and a few watches that were on my watch list.

This is really a beauty, heavy..well made and still in good shape. A few scratches but as you can see nothing special.
The pushbuttons for the digital part are hidden behind the metal sidebar...incredible find.

Just analogue time at one side and digital at the other with
- time+ date or seconds
- alarm + hourly chime
- chrono
- timer

enjoy the pictures :dwf:

I had one in bi-colour, much nicer and rarer in straight stainless like yours though, great find. Also nice to see one without the digital face fixing screws damaged. They always seem to be chewed. Common failure on these is the alarm sounder

I've always thought these are very funky. This colour combination looks especially good. Does anyone know if there was a functional purpose to the flipping function or was it just to be able to have a different look?

That neatly explains it! Personally, I would've gone for traditional hands for business and digital for play. Lovely watch
