JACK

I've been handing out descriptions to all the bike and pawn shops in town but I doubt they'll have any luck but you have to try or else roll over and die. I'm still furious but I've been given a bike by a mate to tide me over and my boss will let me drag him into a cycle to work scheme whereby I don't pay tax on the bike and I save something like 41% of the total price but sacraficing some of my tax/national insurance (heath tax for non UK's). In other words a £750 bike will cost me just under £400. Still hope Karma exists though....

As for your thief Ed, I'm a firm believer in taking responsibilty for your actions - If he hadn't stolen it he'd be alive today. His choice, his consequences. Harsh perhaps but don't blame others for your mistakes. Of course it was my choice to leave it unlocked....guess I'm to optimistic about human nature...and I'm staying that way (locking my bike up every time tho' :-P )
PS drink driving should be a murder charge - I'm sick and tired of seeing people get away with a slap on the wrist after killing innocents. Get in a car drunk and it's premeditated in my book.

Oh as for Jack being linked to skeleton - "the nightmare before christmas" is the link.

DRINK

Fitron -
I have just got a Carrera Subway 8 from Halfords on the cycle 2 work scheme, very good bike, although a little expensive at £400, the standard model at £200 is probably the better deal.

You can purchase 2 bikes using the scheme if you desire, so long as both are used for transport to work e.g one for on road and one for off road routes.

Overall a very good scheme with savings of around 33% plus the payments are spread over 12 months with no interest charged.
