Longines Comet Automatic?

Did Longines make the Comet as an automatic? I have seen reference to it being made both as an automatic and manual wind but never seen an automatic offered for sale

I've only ever seen the mystery dial watch with a calibre 702 which is a manual wind base calibre 6902 with (I'd guess) some modifications for the dial.

Also - If a watch from that period doesn't say automatic on the dial - then it's probably not.

There are other Longines mystery dial watches using a 19a automatic movement but they're not as cool as the Comet (and they always have automatic on the dial).

My son loves my Zodiac mystery dial - I've tried explaining how it works but he's convinced it's magic.

That one's been on for a few weeks with no takers - the condition is not that good especially at that price, Azimuth sold a couple a while back I wished I had the money back then because they where stunners!

I have one with a lightening bolt for the seconds indication instead of the usual dot, I picked it up ages ago on eBay, I have never seen once since so maybe it is quite rare?
