show your best looking digitals!!

Post06 Feb 2012, 00:37

not just a digital, but your top digitals and tell us why!

Image

Seiko d031 : pure simplicity...rectangle..with light and date. Great feel (light) around the wrist. better then the bulova Phantom and the seiko f231.

Image

what more can you say: pure elegance..imagine this one around the wrist off Angelina Jolie in the seventies. The Grima watch

Image

Suunto a digital with attidute..so masculine.

Image

Synchronar : a digital from space..incredible design..inventive and simple, strong but delicate.

Image

the best one from the ventura collection. strange but stylish and pure quality.

and last but not least
Image

The Yes worldwatch : i'm wearing this one at the moment and i'm pleasantly surpriced...one 24 hours pointer..alarm/chrono..but after wearing this one for a while, i miss that i cannot see the sunrize and sunset time anymore with the other. Good quality.

Now tell us your prefered watches and why!

I hadn't seen that Grima or the Ventura before, very nice indeed.

Hey, the thread title reads "show your best looking digitals!!"
Do you have that Grima LED?

I disagree about the Ventura Sigma being the best Ventura. I don't like Paolo Fancelli's creations.
The vtec Alpha (I) is an iconic design, the vtec Delta is a beauty, the vtec Kappa is stunning, and the d-sparc px is a timeless ( ;-) ) classic. IMVHO ;)

And no round-faced watch can ever be good looking ;)

De gustibus non est disputandum.

no bad translation...or bad chosen words.. with your ..i meaned the ones you think are the niciest digitals out there.

i would love to have the Grima and the ventura and a synchronar...don't have these yet...only the first and the last one, but i allways buy a lot of vintage watches...service them..sell them again and then i buy a high end digital from the profit, if i have a profit? :-D

But for the grima, i would make an exception and give all the cash i have lying around here to have it. Such an amazing piece.
i like all sorts of digitals, not just leds..but i always prefer the ones where i could see the hour immediatly without pressing a button first and they must have a light :-)

eeugh..did you say round faces :-D

Image

one of mine and also an incredible watch.

Image

also a very nice watch, but just not perfect : the first citizen is not good enough quality and the second one is made in the wrong material.

Ummm---how do you tell the time with that? It only has 10 lights for the hours and another 10 for the minutes. I have no idea what time it's indicating in the picture.

I also disagree that a round faced watch can't be attractive.

Different But I'd spend more time figuring out what it said then anything else.
