Vintage watch or/and vintage car.

Post04 Jun 2014, 20:57

I'm always impressed that most of us vintage watch collectors also have a vintage car. This is the place to show it off :-D

This is my first car at the age of 20. Bought it together with my mother, so she could use it if she needed it. All my holiday/vacation work earned money from the last 5 years went to it (5000 euro) but it was worth every dime :-D
Bought it second hand (10 months old) from a lady who could not drive with it cause it had no servo steering at that time.

I was the king of the road back then :mega: and just recently restored it after standing still for more then 15 years. The feeling driving it now is like the young boy i was back then :-D

Just took a few shots at my grandparents house.

Alfa Romeo spider 2000 Quadrifoglio Verde 1988
1962 cc, 132 pk, 2600 pieces made.

Well I can't say my car is considered Vintage but its a Musclecar. 1970 Plymouth GTX 440CI 6 Barrel. I did 99% of the restoration myself. darn near every nut and bolt is new.

Wow :mega:

Love them! Both of them look incredible, I can appreciate the hours that went into making them look that good and the hours of work that lie ahead keeping them in tip top condition. ~:(

I can just imagine cruising down the road in them with the windows down, arm resting on the top of the door with a nice vintage digital watch on the wrist.
