Hello everyone. This is my first post. I have a Ricoh Riquartz 122002 watch that I had in my possession since the 1980's. I just recently came across it again and wanted to use it. When I opened up the watch, I noticed that the battery had been removed. I probably took out the battery many years ago and misplaced it. My question is does anyone know what type of battery this watch takes? I have tried to find the information on line but have had no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Kasper. I measured the opening for the battery and it looks to be 9.5mm across. I am guessing it would have to be a 399 (SR927W) battery. If anyone thinks different, please let me know. Thanks again and have a great day.
A 371 is thinner so probably best to start there, if you cant work out the thickness. If it's not thick enough you can always pack it up with a tiny bit of tin foil on top. Then buy the correct one next time. Pete
Kasper This Microsoft Band you bought.....
Are they any good and what kind of music do they play? Bet it's retro 80's synth.

Hi and thanks for your advice. Maybe I will try a thinner battery first and if need be, build it up with a bit of aluminum foil. I will probably try and buy a battery in the next couple of days and will let you know the outcome. Thanks again for all your help.

As or as my comments maybe, I thought Kaspers were much better.
1, just measure the hole so you have an idea did he mean ass hole or pigeon hole. and 2, Don't go to high in thickness. Well what can I say, the man's a genius. And he wasn't even trying.
Kasper I bow to your superiority.
Please don't ever ban him we have so much fun. Sorry about me again.

Just to let you know, I purchased a 395/399 battery for my watch and it was the correct size. I put it in and couldn't be happier. I sure missed this watch. Thanks again to everyone for your help and advice. If I need any help in the future I know who to turn to.
