I Agree, this is the nicest Seiko in my opinion. I have one and like so much that I got 2 spare modules so I can wear it for ever. Nice collection my friend.
Here is my Seiko.

as much as I watch them, does not give me boredom, on the contrary, 0634 are all beautiful and more beautiful...I also provided with a couple of them that serve as donors of parts if needed, I'm sure this is one of the last who stayed in the top10 watches if I decided to cut my collection. ;-)

This watch, which I will introduce is dont have material value, but the emotional value they have for me is priceless ...

In the photos you can see two identical watches of which one is in pretty bad shape and the other is brand-new, broken down is the first watch that I received in my life.
It was in 1979y.

I will never forget the day when I got this watch, it was something I dreamed of ... I'll never forget when I saw it and told my parents - I want just that ...
I remember that the seller commented, "He is a kid , and this is a serious watch ..." Whatever in this time that technology was something that was considered perfection.
I remember ,with watch have a bunch of prospects in order to settings and maintance, watch was wrapped in a white bag of vinyl with goldtone Selk print, all of this is still in the closet saved.

That night I did not sleep to late because I was fascinated by the my new toy and what all of the function,I watched with fascination how to change the digits on display...
It was a far 1979y......

Selk watches is produced in Yugoslavia, at this point I can say that the modules that have incorporated into the classes really well made.

Broken watch in the photos is my first, the one that I did not take to the hand by the end of elementary school,I changed three metal bracelets because they are torn,
engraved my name on watch, because if it be stolen or lost ,means that my ...

I adored wearing this watch on every occasion of my boyhood days ... still works perfectly ...

On the authentic model I did not work restoration, and will not, because it reminds me of the time and I do not want any scratches that I've made to take off ...

but ... that's why I got an identical brand-new , and again I enjoyed as a kid ...

These sorts of memories are what draws most of us to vintage digital watches. I've never heard of Selk watches.
Intresting to see them side by side. Your childhood one sure took a pounding !

My first watch was a black plastic Exelar LED. I gave it to my dad to fix (in hindsight, I think it just needed a new battery). He was a mechanic, who in my eyes could fix anything. I never saw it again.

I still haven't replaced it !@@! . One day I will, but they seem to always cost a lot more than I'm willing to pay for a poor quality, plastic watch. It was just like this one:

My first watch was Casio dbc-60 in 1985...i remember the text scrolling left to right....a fantastic watch that unfortunatly stole in 1993...so i bought a Casio CosmoPhase in the same year
I'm also sure that i used a Casio GM but i don't remember the exact reference...(not the SS version for sure)
30 years ago...
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Thank you all for the comments, each of usn have similar stories about digital watches...so was the passion for them.

Today I got a fantastic Seiko, Seiko LC 0644-8000 with blue face, LC Seiko from zero series, produce date is october 1975y.
Watch is currently under restoration process, luckily module is clean, so that there is no work on module, but the case and the glass will have to do restoration.
When restoration be completed the picture be here. ;-)

Me too !
One interesting thing I found with this module is that the buttons are held in place via the module locating ring.
Once you lift the ring out, the buttons fly out !

BTW, nice work again Iggy.
