My Digitals

Post18 Apr 2015, 06:01

**Update** 8-30-2020 Photos are all replaced . I'm trying IMGBB for hosting.

I am slowly working on taking decent pictures of some of my more interesting watches . I'll start this off with this beastie :

One of my favorite retros , the Axcent Tank . Nice heavy construction and a beautiful gold finish . It was love at first sight .

Operation is very simple . Only displays time and date .

Incredible stuff, Nevers seen before. I don't think they were sold on the European market. Love them all, except the last one. :-D I have to copy and paste it in my wish list.

Some Fossil Abacus WristNet Smartwatches . The smart functions don't work anymore because MSN does not offer service but they are still very cool watches with many different display choices . The battery lasts around 3 days an a charge . Charging is done through a wireless charging pedestal . The pedestal does need to be plugged into the wall socket but is unplugged in the picture .

A few earlier models . The battery again lasts around 3 days but I have successfully put a larger capacity battery in one and now it lasts 7 days .

An Abacus Wrist PDA . Quite large with a touch screen and a stylus . It's fully functioning as far as I know although I have not played with it much . The battery is going bad and lasts 1 day and then must be completely re-calibrated . I put a new battery in it but it still lasts 1 day so I believe the new battery is defective . Someday I will play with it again . It uses a mini USB connector on the left side to charge and for transferring data or updates through a computer .

I really like the Abacuses . They were well built and the later models were nice looking . I'm still looking for the Dick Tracy model but they usually sell for more money .

Fossil LED JR-7771 with a vintage band . Doesn't quite fit on the band lugs so it has small rubber o-rings to keep it from moving around too much . Temporary measure until I can find one that looks as good with the right sized band .

Fossil Arkitekt FS-4155 . It has a weird flip dual time function . It displays the first time when worn right side up , then you take off the watch, turn it around, and the alternate destination time zone appears :

Tommy Hilfiger 1781026 pink display . A larger sized ladies watch but I really like it .

I love the inverted red/orange lcd of the Boss and vestal..great watches + good quality.
Nice classic display on the timex with the indiglo bonus light.
I was to late to buy the Seahpe scope 2...very nice watch.

Could you show i few more shots of the kenneth cole NY1688 ..love how the digits blend in the display.

I almost had to stay on Cuba in 2001 when going trough customs with the spoon digital agent on my wrist. The local
cuban gestapo wanted to keep the wrist for themselfs, But i refused to let go :-D My wife in sheer panic :-D

The Vestals with stainless finish are my favorites too . They are more rare to find , the gold are still fairly plentiful .

That's wild . I don't blame you for refusing . I will have to wear an ugly watch if I ever visit Cuba

I have seen the Kenneth Cole 1688 listed as an OLED but I don't know if that info is correct . I've never seen one to compare it to . Most photos of this watch online do not show it very well or show the black screen version # KC1601 .
Here's some more pics of it .
