Three new LED watches

Post25 Jan 2019, 19:57

Well, "new" to me at any rate.

Image

The first is a brand new Sunwatch, courtesy of egomon. This Sunwatch case contains a Synchronar Mark I module with new solar panel; new batteries; and a new, 3-D printed base.

The second is a NOS CompuChron that is going to need some work, because the module is rotated a few degrees - ie, the digital readout appears slightly tilted.

The third was not advertised as NOS but is in such perfect condition that it might as well be. This is the silver-tone Mercury Time that I came across while looking into Better Call Saul.

LED watches are quiet and polite. No ticking, no tocking, no beeping, no buzzing; they will only tell you the time when you ask to see it and they will do so instantly with no attention-seeking animations. A more civilized watch for a more civilized age.
