Post29 Jul 2007, 17:49

Hi Fitron, sorry i haven't replied until now as i've been abroad and only saw your private message today.. I have had to reply on the forum as the Adnministrator has prevented me from sending PMs, (thats the message it flagged up anyway) and i didn't want you to think i ignored your request. . The gold logo timescreen was sourced through goldsmiths, the Omega dealer- hope this helps-regards -Gary

Thanks Gary,

I haven't actually got the watch yet but barring mishaps I should have it soon - Thanks again Ed for all your help with it, much apprectiated ;-) . I'm just preparing in case the screen is worse than I think it is - I'd rather spend the money on something better like beer tbh. My first (and last) Omega...... :-D

I am now a fully paid up member of the Omega club and I'm delighted so say that I don't need to replace the glass after all. Big public thanks to Ed (without whose help I could not have got the watch) and to Gary for replying to my questions helpfully and informatively.

Down side - have I got hold of all the watches I want to have ????!
