Amida Digitrend & Girard Perregaux Casquette Comparison.

Post21 Oct 2010, 08:03

These uber cool watches look quite similar when viewed individually, I would be curious to see how they compared when placed side by side - is there anyone who is lucky enough to own both watches prepared to post some photo's?

The Digitrend is a watch that's on my most wanted listed (admittedly it's a long list) I have been keeping an eye on them for a while and, by heck, hasn't there value shot up of late! I should of got one whilst they where still relatively cheap:

I am that lucky....:-D
I would need to charge the battery on my camera first though.
Will see what i can do....
Any other driver style watch you would like to see in the picture?
Who knows i might be able to help...although i was kinda hoping to post the pictures in the
"how does your kingdom looks like?" section of the forum that kasper started.
But i really haven't got a real "kingdom" for them yet.
I keep them in boxes lying around, at least those that i have a box for :-P
Still looking for a nice way to display them.

I have the GP so a side by side shot with the Digitrend would give me a good idea of the size, looking forward to seeing the photos :-D

Thanks for the photo's the Amida looks great :-D I want one :O`~

You have a very nice collections of drivers watches 8-)

I recognize the GP, Synhcronar, Swissonic, Mido, Benrus, Advance, Seiko and the Digitrends but no Bulova drivers watch?

Rare to see the Derby Swissonic in it's original box, nice catch 8-)

Here are the Ladies and Gents version of the Bulova drivers watch.
I know there are more versions, but for now these are the only 2 i own.
The gents is new, boxed and complete with documents and hang-tags.

Yes, the Derby was sold on eBay with no pictures of the box added.
I was very surprised when i opened the mail.

Actually the Gents Bulova Drivers watch is the one that started my
drivers watch collecting obsession...

I think it might have gotten somewhat out of hand. !@@!

It can only get worse ~:( or better depending on your perspective ;-)

What others are on your wanted list? Apart from the different versions of the ones you already have I can't think of too many other LED drivers watches.

Your right,

It is pretty much complete, some different versions maybe.
Getting the right boxes and documents is also on the list.
But next on the List...i think not many drivers watches.
So maybe on to the Pulsars and Omega non driver watches.

But...*shows empty pockets* first got to save some money.

very impressive Cesar...from your collection..there are only four i would buy..a synchronar..a popup benrus..a bulove driver, a derby and maybe the amida.

there are so many watches a like that i like to buy just a few from each style...a led..a popup..a lcd (more differences in lcd then led), a jump, a calculator etc etc.

but still very nice colletion there.
