Question to TC II

Post26 Jun 2012, 21:13

Hi all,

I recently bought an Omega Time Computer II.

The problem I have is that I can not set the minutes. If I put the magnet to the "MIN" slot the watch shows shortly the time but then jumps directly to the seconds and displays them continuously.
The minutes does not change.

I can set the hours and date and month without a problem. I tried it with an original Omega magnet and a second different one.

Is that a defect of the watch or does anybody have an idea or trick for me?

Thank you very much.

Best Regards,
Daniel

The magnet is activating the reed switch for the time/seconds display. Try experimenting with the position of the magnet, twist it around, spin it upside down, move it around on the case back, try a different magnet, there is normally a sweet spot which when found will advance the minutes but it can be tricky to find.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.
