Synchronar Update

Post16 Feb 2007, 15:57

Hi. This message is to prevent Ed from bumping me off the forums.

Winter must be a harder time for Synchronars -- mine has been getting so much less sun that it ran down for the first time a few weeks back.

I hung it in a table lamp facing the bulb and left it that way overnight. The next day, it was a few hours short. It must have remembered the time when it stopped but not advanced it until it was charged again.

I am loving this watch. :)

Hi Scott,

I think Ed was refering to members with 0 posts that have nothing to offer but a link for viagra or something.

As we talked about when almost all of your time is spent indoors under fluorescent lighting your not really picking up enough incandesent lighting to give it a charge. At the same time the flourescent lights can be bright enough to send the watch into high intensity(very bright) mode. That is cool to see it lit bright but remember there is much more drain on the batteries when it is lit bright like that. Also it is not a good idea to leave the ET flasher on.Normaly the display shuts off when it reaches low voltage so it can continue keeping track of time. However when left with the flasher on or sometimes the alarm while at a low charge it can sometimes trick the QC to quit oscillating, giving you the frozen in time point that it quit discovered after a recharge.

Wish I could send some sun in a bottle  Enjoy!

Don't feel bad ,it,s cold here in the sunshine city today.
