egomon: probably because you don't have any sun in Finland right now.
. actually, jeff and i have discussed this phenomena and not come to a real concete conclusion as to what exactly is the problem. it is obviously something not right in the charging system because as a rule it is not a problem. this is more than likely why these particular watches were returned to riehl to begin with. i have a few that have this problem, but for the time being just set them aside. they work fine if they don't get an excessive charge. i think jeff said that the qc shuts down because the voltage is too high. [at least i think that is what he said.] i have tried changing the qc's, but it doesn't seem to help. maybe it has something to do with the 2 resistors in the charging circuit. what do you think jeff? i was going to call you on that but never got around to it. maybe now is the time to address that. peter
