intermittent fault help required

i have an orient touchtron with an annoying fault, 8 out of 10 times the bottom row of led's does not illuminate. the other 2 times they do. all led segments are equally bright and the watch keeps good time. any ideas?

Must be some bad conact between the driver chip and the display. Dont know the orient modules, but this is always hard to fix unless you are a pro in micro-electronics. But fortunately we have some nice micro-electronics professionals here, maybe look at the workbench subforum - you'll get much advice and tips for repairs there. :wink:
