Rolex-Zenith LED Watch?!

Post26 Apr 2013, 02:34

Hi guys,
I just received this watch today. I was anxiously waiting for it :fool:
Rolex LED LowRes.jpg

Now, I just want to know if somebody has any information about it?!
Is it real?! I could not find anything about it on-line
The module is a Zenith module and it is working. What gets my attention is to be signed "Rolex" on the front dial
Any info is more than welcome.
Thanks

Surely has to be a fake with 'Oyster Perpetual' on the dial and a Zenith movement? :-?

Hi Richard,
It is also signed Zenith on the dial (as you can see).
Wasn't both companies related to each other doing some business (modules, cases, etc) at some point?!
What would be the point of creating a so precise machine and detailed finish to create a fake of a non-existent model?!
Anybody else?! :Hi: :bye:

I got two more pictures of the front of it working and one of the module (back opened) but I can't upload ("Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.")

The Zenith only version is being offered on eBay....http://www.ebay.com/itm/251266704209;js ... 26_rdc%3D1 It looks identical to this one apart from the markings on the dial.

Hi Bucko,
I have a few Zenith in my collection myself, and I have one just like this one you pointed (eBay listing). And yes, you are right, they are very similar.
I took a look with a magnifying lens on the signature "Rolex" on the dial, and I can't not see any kind of alteration and/or anomaly.
As soon as the glitch for the file upload get fix, I will upload the other pictures with more details.
Thank you :Hi:
